 Seminar Series:

Want to give your horse a day off and just get together with other horse enthusiasts
to relax and learn some new training techniques.  Enjoy an educational experience
with David.  Bring a chair, pull up a hay bale, grab a pen, let the fun begin!  David
has woven his education, training, and life experiences with horses into a seminar
series that allows participants to visualize horse training as a clear and orderly
progression of systematic steps.  The result – the horse you desire.

 Seminar topics include:

 ·     Starting Horses

·     Principles of Round Pen Training

·     Ground Training

·     Rein Control

·     Enhancing Directional Control

·     Lateral Work

·     Transitions

·     Simple and Higher Level Maneuvers

David emphasizes the importance of working with a horse to develop manners,
 respect, attentiveness, and compliance.

Seminar Setting:  The preferred setting in which to conduct a seminar is in an
indoor arena at least 60 ft in diameter.  David sets up a round pen and uses a
speaker system so all can hear.  Seminar course material is provided to allow
participants build a reference manual that proves useful once “back at the barn”.
Training principles are broken down into simple individual steps.  David not only
demonstrates each step but goes on to teach participants what the expected
response should be from the horse in each situation and what to do if the horse
doesn’t give the expected response.  This seminar series is conducted in an
interactive format - full of demonstrations, discussions, questions & answers
sessions, and just plain good ole horse talk!
